It's a bit slow to start, but there's a good variety of color options, a wide range of popular objects, and video and picture quality is small but feature-packed.

This is a great lightweight unit. You can't easily tell a dog from a deer from 100 yards away. It's sensitive and effective. I use it for hunting.

Good for scouting around, pretty good range, obviously this is an entry level thermal, low refresh rate, low field of view, you won't see mice at 100 yards but deer, bears, pigs and bigfoot will It showed clearly that one summer day I could see heat radiating from the windows of a house half a mile away.

It shows the heat difference from an object, so it can be used during the day or night. The first day I got it, I could clearly see a squirrel on an oak tree about 60 feet away. The trees are dark gray and the squirrels are very distinctly white, which is great!

Works as advertised. Battery life is great. The field of view is also very wide, which I am very satisfied with.
