I bought this for a last line of defense I keep in by my bed and it has come in vary handy. i live in the back woods and have woke up in the night to 2 snakes in my cabin and to meany scorpions to count. the blade and grip is vary well made and feels solid in my hand the edge has kept its shape and integrity after meany light-medium strength strikes to A concrete floor / wood wall all in all it’s a vary good functional sword.

This is a practical sword, not a wall-hanger. There's no ornate brass, bone or ray skin. Just steel, with a modern polymer handle. It's extremely durable and solid, and it arrived plenty sharp.

It has a pretty nice edge, not razor sharp. But this is a sword, not a knife. A sword is not meant to be sharp. This product is clearly a modern redesign of the classic katana sword. Everything about it is very modern. Its blade is significantly shorter than the classic katana. This is great for me because it means I can actually use it. Goodbye camping machete. This is a very solid structure. It feels solid in the hand.

The blade quality is amazing, but the handle is plastic. But I only bought it for the blades, so my money was well spent
