I bought this for my brother-in-law who actually walks with a cane. This is less than half an inch taller than his normal boring cane, so I surprised him with this on his birthday. He was excited about the design and attention to detail that went into the sword portion, and luckily for his 280-pound frame, the cane sheath could support the weight he put on it while walking. He has been using it for a few weeks and loves it.
